Question: What is the average cost of an active hobby?

We are considering giving up our hobby of keeping a marine fish tank because it's expensive. When we worked it out it costs about $2000/ yr. Is that a lot for a couple to spend on a hobby? How much do other couples spend on hobbies?

Well everyone different and how they work and what they find fun. My best friend his hobby with his girlfriend are making music together (Its hard) they spend lots of time and money. 700 700$= 1400$ 500 500$= 2400$ 100 100$= 2600$ 100 100$= 2700$ 100 100$= 2900$ 70$ 70$= 3040$ 50$ 50$= 3140$ 20$ 20$= 3180$ 5$ 5$= 3190% All in total for their hobby is 3180$ Plus Little more ETC for the tools to fix it with and more and the Program to fix their music and computer so some more. And other couples do other things as well so I Guess some sped more but were all different what were into. But to me its lot.
