Question: Are there any combat-optional exploration games?

Do you remember Starflight? Combat was optional. You didn't have to: you could, but that wasn't the focus of that game. I've had enough combat games! Are there any games like that left anywhere? Freeware, shareware, commercial, or at least vaporware?
